How our custom cedar dog houses are constructed:
We start withSolid Western Red Cedar framing and Premium Western Red Cedar Siding or TNG (Tongue and Groove).
Optional Reflectix® FBF Insulation can be included on wall and roof panels. This product consists of 1 layer of 3/16-inch polyethylene bubble that is sandwiched between two layers of 99% pure aluminum foil. The polyethylene encapsulated air bubbles serve as an effective thermal break as well as a vapor barrier, while the 2 outer layers of aluminum reflect up to 97% of all radiant energy.
Galvanized nails and screw are used in all assembly processes of the dog house construction.
Marine Grade 40 mil vinyl door(s) are included free of charge and are crystal clear, UV resistant, shatterproof and resistant to hot and cold temperatures, stains, flames, acids and alkali.

Removable divider included on all duplexes.
Cedar raised floor construction. (2")
Birch interior wall surfaces.
Roof panels include a layer of roofing felt paper for all weather protection.
Cedar screw plugs are included to cover assembly hardware.

Do you have two dogs at home that need to be comfortable? Our custom duplex dog houses are built with the highest quality materials in the industry. We start with #1 grade spruce wood framing and the highest quality (optional upgrade) Reflectix insulation on all walls, roof and gable panels. The panels are then primered inside to prevent moisture penetration and sealed with an environmentally safe wood preservative on the outside. Our duplex dog house panels are lightweight and stronger than any other wood construction technology. We finish our duplex dog houses with two coats of Sherwin William's Super paint. This high quality UV resistant 20-year outdoor paint provides a beautiful satin sheen.
